TIER I
Tier I is designed for beginner athletes who are building their basketball foundation from the ground up. This phase focuses on developing proper mechanics, coordination, and confidence through structured repetition and step-by-step instruction.
Daily training emphasizes ball handling, dynamic ball control, basic form shooting, and foundational finishing techniques. Athletes learn how to execute movements correctly before adding speed or complexity, gradually progressing into simple attacking moves and finishes.
Each month includes 15 structured training sessions to be completed throughout the month, with workouts evolving slightly to reinforce consistency and skill retention. Tier I establishes the discipline, mechanics, and control required for long-term development and prepares athletes for more advanced training phases within the Academy.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
Training inside Hoops Project Academy is simple and intentional. Athletes need two basketballs, a hoop, and space to work. No machines. No unnecessary tools. Just structured skill development and disciplined repetition.
How do I know which tier is right for me?
Read each tier description carefully and choose the level that best reflects your current abilities. We strongly recommend starting one tier lower than you think you need and using your first month to master every detail. At the end of the month, you can remain in that tier or move to a higher tier for your next month of training.
